When on solid dirt, ...
When on solid dirt, I set the front end loader bucket down--then lift the front end of the machine off the ground(all the way)...then(at full throttle) set the stabalizers down all the way too!! This set-up sets the whole machine about 3 ft off the ground, which puts you at about 8-9 ft off the ground....it's my way of "getting high!!"

I fell in love with a case 4stick foot swing. At the training center i go to they have 2..one is very old and the boom leaks..drifts slowly to the floor but it is very beatiful to operate.

if you cant figure out how to step on a pedal to swing or how to run 4 levers, then tell me what are you going to do when you need to run the front end and back end at the same time when you get in tight spots?

I dig around utilities every day. I swear by 4stick foot swing, would never go back to 2 stick. I agree with wasson6414. Experiance is very important diggin in the street.

yeah. i guess that is true. I just have had more experience with hoes other than deeres. I guess it is somewhat an opinion and i haven't dug a lot around utilities.

it isn't hard to operate a backhoe. i just don't like case. it's to confusing with all the levers. i just like the deere jcb and cat. they are really simple to opperate once you get the jist of what you're doing and that's coming from a 15 year old
